Here is some information about the baobab:

Baobabs can store water in their trunks and only need to be watered about once a month during the growing season. When they are dormant, don’t water them at all. Too much watering can cause root rot and kill the tree.

The species is sensitive to cold temperatures and needs keeping in a warm environment. It will not tolerate temperatures below 10 degrees C. Baobab asks for six hours of full sun per day. For indoor setups, grow lights may need to be on this plant for some 16 hours of the day for optimal growth.
